Students qualifying for transfer can complete a prescribed curriculum consisting of half time of their degree programs at University of United Angeles. All students must meet the application requirements set by University of United Angeles. When transferring to one of our partner’s campus, students must meet the application requirements as outlined by the university they are transferring to.

University of United Angeles shall offer degree programs through the School of Allied Studies and through the School of Graduate Studies. Each degree offered by University of United Angeles leads to employment guarantee by the graduation date.

School of Allied Studies

Program Overview

The School of Allied Studies shall offer undergraduate education leading to degrees in Business Administration and Leadership, Behavioral Sciences, Nursing, Education, Engineering and Religious Studies.

The degree programs in Business Administration and Leadership, Behavioral Sciences, Nursing, Engineering, and Religious Studies shall build on the University’s distinctive mission and mandate which is to educate and graduate job creators who will make meaningful economic and human service contributions to society as leaders and united citizens of the World by equipping each student with skills and resources necessary to create employment opportunities. Our undergraduate degree programs are also designed to prepare students whose interests are to go to laws school, medical school or to continue on to graduate school with background knowledge and skills in job creation education and research.

The Department of Business Administration and Leadership shall offer education leading to the following majors:

Program Overview

The Department seeks to facilitate economic decisions by serving its students, the university, and the community by cultivating excellent job creation skills and commitment to ethical service through creative, moral, and socially responsible business activities.

Students shall complete a core curriculum consisting of courses in the selected major and a guided independent job creation research project. The independent job creation research project shall allow students to apply theories and concepts learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Students shall be given the flexibility to complete general education requirements by taking general education courses offered in the School of Allied Studies, transferring prior credits earned at other accredited colleges or universities including Brigham Young University.

Program Overview

Research in the department of engineering shall embrace a diverse set of intellectual disciplines and applications in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, architectural design and information systems security. Students who will complete their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering shall gain a comprehensive understanding of engineering built on a foundation of computer science and physical science, mathematics and technology. Coursework shall prepare students for job opportunities in the private corporate sector, in government or for future study as graduate students, researcher and scholars.

Behavioral Sciences infuse every area of our human life and our everyday relationship with fellow human beings. The Department of Behavioral Sciences shall offer holistic educational experience that balances academic rigor, research, and professional opportunities which foster personal integrity and responsibility. Students earning a bachelor’s degree from UUA or its partners will be trained to think like professional practitioners who are able to demonstrate empirical habits, mastery of knowledge, and practical research skills that will make them competitive practitioners in professional fields requiring strong human service and communication skills.

Degrees offered in Behavioral Sciences will provide an excellent foundation for students who plan to enter Law School, Pharmacy, Medical School and Dental School or jobs requiring strong human service and communication skills. These degrees are also an excellent foundation for students who plan to enter graduate school (master’s and doctorate levels) in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.

Program Overview

The purpose of the Department of Religious Studies is to develop a God-centered education environment and research that will prepare students for service to God and humanity. The Department shall deliver contextually relevant theological education that is scripturally and theologically grounded in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints tradition and teaching. Curriculum is designed to prepare students for teaching in church intuitions, for self-employment, and for employment agencies in the community. The program introduces the student to vocational practitioner options including teaching, and chaplaincy in hospitals, military, and prisons. The program also serves the graduating student who desires further training in Bible research and inquiry as a researcher and a scholar prepared to teach religious studies at college or university level. The program also provides a religious foundation for entry in Law School, Dental School, and Medical School.

The School of Graduate Studies shall offer Master’s and Doctorate degree programs in Business Administration and Leadership, Marriage and Family Sciences, and Education.

The Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration and Leadership are designed to educate and graduate leaders who will simultaneously create wealth with human value. The Department of Business Administration and Leadership shall educate students motivated by a commitment to integrity, compassion, and social justice and who will use their skills to expand economic opportunity and grow wealth in underdeveloped communities by promoting the creation of innovative enterprises that in turn will make tangible, positive social change.

While the Department seeks to equip students with business skills they can use in any morally appropriate business environment, it will concentrate its educational efforts on training students to be entrepreneurs. The graduate program builds on UUA’s distinctive mission: education programs that create jobs and increase individual and community opportunities.

The program is also designed to provide students with valuable preparation for examinations leading to recognized professional certifications, including the Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Manager, and Professional designations in Human Resource and Marketing.

The Department of Marriage and Family Sciences, through the School of Graduate Studies shall offer the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling, Family Life Education, and Family Therapy.

The Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Marriage and Family Sciences are designed to educate and graduate a diverse student body prepared to provide leadership in the field of Marriage and Family Sciences through counseling, teaching and scholarly research on unemployment and its impact on individual lives, families, communities, and nations.

The program offers students a strong base for academic excellence, employment opportunity by the graduation date, and successful career development. The program provides a comprehensive curriculum in counseling that promotes a continuous culture of pride in clinical practice, respect and community service.

There is an increasing need for highly qualified administrators and leaders, educators, researchers and scholars in Higher Education. The Department of Education and Policy Studies, through the School of Graduate Studies shall offer the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Education Administration and Leadership, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, and Curriculum Development and Instruction.

The degrees are designed to prepare leaders in higher education at various administrative college and university levels as administrators, supervisors, directors in student services, financial aid, admissions, career advisement, curriculum development, alumni relations and faculty in education at colleges and universities. The Department of Education and Policy Studies comprehensive courses and research coupled with the quality and diversity of our faculty shall prepare leaders who will pursue excellence rather than power.
